This quote means that it doesn't matter where you live, in a rich society or a poor society, what matters is how you live, your actions-are they good or are they bad-that's what matters. It also refers to wherever you play, weather it's in your backyard or a big-o, fancy court- what matters is how you're playing, 'are you cheating? Are you being fair?' Overall, I think the big idea/example of this quote can be it don't matter who you become friends with weather he's rich or poor, or different Race, what matters is his personality.
