Student Success Statement
“Be
quick, but don’t get in a hurry.”
- John Wooden
- John Wooden
I think the meaning
of this quote is to do things quickly for your own good – to be at the top. Don’t
rush (hurry) things because that’ll just be a mess, you’re wanting to be the
first one without taking smart time and analyzing what you just read or what
you just learned. For example, you are racing with your partner to see who
finishes the worksheet first instead of “let’s see who finishes first and then
we quiz each other on what we just learned and after that we correct each
other’s work.”
